Who is Mabel?

Mabel is my alter-ego.  She is creative and spirited, demanding and soulful.  She is based on how I imagine my Nanna to be in her younger days and always keeps me on my toes.  She likes endless cups of tea, iced vo-vos and has a love hate relationship with her willful red hair.

How often do you release new ranges?

Whenever it takes our fancy!  I design Oh Mabel to be part of your home for a lifetime not a season.  We swap and change things up when inspiration hits rather than follow seasonal cycles.  New products and designs are currently being thoughtfully prepared for limited releases, keep up to date on Oh Mabel creations by signing up to our newsletter.

How do I care for Oh Mabel products?

Oh Mabel recommends that you wash all products separately before use using cold water. We would prefer all products to be line dried however use of a dryer will not damage Oh Mabel products. Do not dry clean Oh Mabel bed linen. Even the quilted doona covers can be washed on the delicate/handwash cycle in the washing machine.

You will find that Oh Mabel organic cotton gets unbelievably softer and softer with each wash. Oh so dreamy!

What are your sizing guides?

Oh Mabel sheet sets are available in single, king single, queen and king sizes.

Oh Mabel quilted doona covers are available in single, double, queen and king sizes. Super Kings will be available in the Ziggy Zaggy design and is a quilt only, it does not have allow a doona insert.

Do you offer lay-by?

Yes we do! 

Lay-by is available for 2-4 weeks and is for any order over $300. Simply email info@ohmabel.com.au to arrange your lay-by!

ITEMS PLACED ON LAYBY ARE FINAL we do not accept returns or exchanges on Lay-by (unless goods are faulty)

(Please note if payment in full has not been made the Lay-by will be cancelled and stock will be relisted on the website.)

  • A Deposit of 40% is required to secure a Lay-by. The deposit is non-refundable (a credit note will be issued in the amount of deposit and any payments made), regular payments can be made weekly or fortnightly with the final balance to be paid no later than 4 weeks after the date of order.
  • If a Lay-by is cancelled- a credit note will be issued for any payments made - this can be used on other stock at www.ohmabel.com.au.

Please note we can not organise a Lay-by during a flash sale or provide La-yby on Sale/ reduced items.

Do you ship internationally?

Yes!  International orders are charged at $15 for orders under one kilogram (such as our pillowcases and throws) and $30 for all other orders.  International customers are responsible for any local taxes or duties.

What is your shipping policy?

We will ship your Oh Mabel goodies within 2-3 business days of receiving your order. Please note that we live in a rural location and we schedule the road trip to the post office at least 2-3 times per week so same day shipping is not always possible. If you do require urgent shipping please contact us at info {at} ohmabel.com.au and I can advise what is possible. We ship using Australia Post with tracking and/or other reputable courier companies where delivery is quoted as being between 2 to 10 days.  

All parcels sent within Australia will be charged a flat rate of $9.50 or FREE SHIPPING for orders over $150. International orders are charged at $15 for orders under one kilogram (such as our pillowcases and throws) and $30 for all other orders.  International customers are responsible for any local taxes or duties.

Please note that we ship your parcel using ordinary wrapping (recycled poly mailers) to avoid any extra attention on the goodness inside and potentially getting waylaid.

www.ohmabel.com.au is not responsible for goods that are either damaged in transit or not received. Damaged or lost orders should be resolved with Australia Post or the courier company directly. Replacement of damaged or lost items is made at the discretion of www.ohmabel.com.au.

What is your return policy?

We can accept any Oh Mabel returns for exchange or refund if you contact us within 14 days of receiving your order and all items are unused and in their original packaging.  An exchange or refund will be for the value of the original order. Please note that we are unable to refund your shipping costs for change of mind returns however any exchange that is sent out will not incur additional shipping costs.

Refunds will be processed promptly and payment made by the same method that you made payment. Refund payments may take up to 7 business days to be received. Refunds are made at the discretion of www.ohmabel.com.au.

What is your Gift Card policy?

Gift Cards purchased for Oh Mabel products are not refundable or redeemable for cash and cannot be used with any other offer.  Gift Cards can be redeemed by using the unique code in the discount option at checkout or emailing sarah@ohmabel.com.au with your name, address and product/s you would like to purchase.  If the total items are priced above the Gift Card value you will be provided options to pay the difference.  The Gift Card can be used over multiple transactions and is not redeemable at Oh Mabel stockists.  The Gift Card is valid 12 months from date of purchase.

What are your payment options?

We use PayPal as our merchant for accepting payments, however you do not need to have a PayPal account. You can proceed through checkout, via PayPal, using your credit or debit card. All information received by PayPal is encrypted using 128-bit SSL (Secure Socket Layer) certificates.

Alternatively you can transfer payment for your order via direct debit using our bank details found at checkout. If using direct debit please make sure you use your order number in the reference field so that we can allocate your payment and get your new goodies out to you sooner.

I received my product and I’m concerned about imperfections.

We feel that the hand crafted style of our bedlinen is part of the charm of Oh Mabel however if you are not happy with any variations you have found in the stitching, printing or colour of your product, please email info {at} ohmabel.com.au and we will organise a refund or exchange, subject to our return policy.

Your privacy is important to us, and we only collect and keep information that you provide to us that is essential in completing a successful transaction with you.
